These are photographs i took today in digital this time instead of 35mm film, these are just a few photographs of my efforts to convert them into digital print...which then decided to not work. First it printed a green line down my photos and then the fabric decided to stick to the roll so stopped printing half way through my images... so these are my photos as far as they printed out. There is currently no more of this fabric to print on.. so today has been full of problems and problem solving. The last photo is an example of how i expect my final designs to look, one of my printed photos infront of my background.

I dont have any new pics to add of my work at the min, so heres a few pics of some of my embroidery over the last few years, only 5 pics. My embroidery isnt conventional or commercial but i like the way i work :).
My current project is moving forward i have a digital print session booked and fabic on order for other lengths. While waiting for these i have been working on my evaluations and written work.

Im not very technically educated so im not sure how to copyright my work so please dont steal it :).

My Project is called "Textured Portraits", i intend to create 4 1&1/2 meter lengths of fabric and paper printed with portraits and textures . Each length will be double layered and contain a portrait and either a background or foreground which complements the portrait.
My photos have been taken on black and white film and my project wil mostly be black and white for effect. The portraits are supposed to have an impact which is why i have printed them so large, they are supposed to prevoke a reaction. Here is an example of 2 of my portrait photographs and one of my textured backgrounds.
